i posted on Facebook my top 10 picks for movies for 2010.

I’ve been adding to that list. I guess top 10 doesn’t mean that i dont see other movies.

I’m not going to write any reviews. but I will give it a rating or MSIT – Must See in Theater, or MSITaWBD – Must See in Theater AND will buy dvd, ICW4D – I can wait for DVD, or NW – Netflix worthy

So my recent list consists of :

Alice in Wonderland – ICW4D. Not that is was a bad theater exp. I could have waited though. The Original is much cooler i think

the Crazies – NW – Not a bad movie. Could have equally enjoyed in streamed or rented from NetFlix.

Brooklyn’s Finest – ICW4D – Longer than it needed to be due to drawn out scenes. Acting was great, filming was nice. I wish I read the book. I think it would have been an AMAZING read.

Shutter Island – I want to see this again at some point. MSIT

That’s it. In the past week.. ive been around the movie popcorn a lot.

Kick Ass looks good. As does MacGruber and a Nightmare on Elm Street.

I don’t get ppl resistance to just call President Obama… well PRESiDENT Obama. Even if u didn’t vote for him I thought it was just pc to call him by his title. i’m referring directly to media and in this case WHYY and NPR news. some of the reporters keep referring to the President as Mr. Obama. I don’t get why Mr is used and not Pres. if the PR of the uk was in the news do they use the title… Why can ppl just show respect? OR is it acceptable to just call him Mr. maybe I’m just being sensesitive? hmmmm

No. I’m not being fresh. what is the opposite of a “man-cave?” I know moat ppl would think the KITCHEN!! but that would only be correct like in the ’70s and 80s. .

if men try to setup “man space” within a co-habitual dwelling. what do women do to compensate? I was wondering how a setup would be if I married a gamer. like do we share big tv time? do we just get matching tvs and just sit and play side by side? does one or the other go to a “cave” when the main tv is occupied and just play there? should there be a man/woman cave… or just a seperate space that’s used for more personal get away? how would it be designed? I guess if the two are enough alike there might not be that much diff in layout and then would become a moot point.

I was just wondering.

I’m must be on a roll today. 2010 seems to b about all things that make my life ezier. I’m writing this Crome my iPhone to see if it’s worth it. if I can post via the iPhone maybe I’ll et more of my thoughts out faster. next thing to tackle is securing who can and can’t see my blog posts. I’d pref having general posts. and then just post my friends see. and one more lvl that would be more of an online diary. right now I feel this is more of journal.

Ummm I guess i did it. I’ve migrated 90% of my digital life to Google. Contacts, Calendar management, 3 emails… Only thing left is my website hosting and my mortgage. lol

This is all because i wanted an EZ setup for my iPhone to get all my info to one place. Is that so wrong? Stoopid iPhone.. Stoopid ” dont be evil” Google corp not being evil… yet. I know that most of my info in online anyway.. and that i’m not that important to warrant a “secret” life. But getting what I want… all my info easily accessible TO ME, is just a bit bothersome bc I know ” they” have access too.

I’ll get it together. Next on my list my Google Phone number… lol insane aint it!?! I’ll get used to this soon.

So many things to update. Everything from photography, the house buying,recent job promotion. I’ve been blessed and fortunate for a while now. I want to continue to move forward in a positive manner. I like knowing that i’m not backtracking. This post is a declaration that I’m back to blogging thoughts. Facebook took many of my thoughts. I need to not neglect my “root” lol .

readers enjoy and comment often. i know i have alot of blogs to read too. Twitter and FB had me distracted.

Ok.. how do change the COLOR of a character from 2 previous movies in exchange for a White girl. What am referring to? Harry Potter movie 6. In the previous the movies, Lavender Brown WAS brown. Well she was “Black.” And she was a secondary character with minor speaking parts. NOW she’sa primary character in the movie and and they just changed her to be a boy… Ron crazied, giggly white girl. What happened?

I already have issue with how… dissappointing this movie was.
I’m resolved to NOT see the last movie in theatres. They have taken enough of my $$ and sleep.
Fdat.
I’m not going.
Shame though. Movie 5 was really good.

I’m not really “feeling ” this holiday. The “season” for caring and giving should be year-round. I’m not trying to subscribe to the fullness of “commercial Christmas” but i do buy. :T I think holidays are REALLY about being around those you do and dont see on the regular and dedicating happy time energies. That’s just how i feel about it. Basic research shows that many of the holidays we celebrate for religious purpose is based on trumping some other social celebration. Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgivings all were rededicated to get ppl to refocus to how the ruling religion thought ppl shoudl be thinking about. I think only EASTER really holds to being original. And even THAT has been stolen by a rabbit and marshmallow chics.. I just like ripping their heads off.

I really do have the focus this year. While pushing out with photography…. I’ve been pushing inward on personal socializing. I was just thinking today, ” i miss when being in luv was simple, carefree and eazy. Now a days looking takes too much energy and too much effort just to really LIKE someone. Ah.. younger luv. How do I miss thee lol ”

So Butter beer and friends it is this year. I’ll do something at the house when i get into the new year. just trying to finalize plans.

Who needs a Wii…:) I DO… But I get it.. * Santa i was good THIS year* I’m working out while playing Halo3 Live. I was feeling kinda lazy. I’ve logged about 20 hours of online TEAM KILLING, KTF, KotH, run and gun play since last wed. I’m hooked. But it’s just me.. online.. playing and waiting for a game to queue and then play some more. then game wait and play. Time between head shoting folk and waiting til the next session is about 2-7 mins. So i’m just there. I can USE that time. I figure, why not move around a bit. Sit-ups and push-ups. So between sessions I crunch, sit and push away teh time between “kill fests” I started as a private.. and now I’m a Sergeant 3rd Grade. I’ve seen so much death… I only see the pink mist now..
LOL suckas. – KILL THE REDS KILL THE REDS” – “You Dirty Blues” – “Life used to be so black and white.. now it shades ot red vs blue.. ”

Lets see where this gets me. How cool would it be to have a commercial. ” I got totally ripped while playing my 360 and Halo3 . And YOU CAN TOO. : )” I guess it’s just about using every min to it’s fullest.
Maybe that will be my new motto.

I really was. There’s a ketchup named Red Gold. It was like gold to me this night. I made burgers. I dont have a lot of $$ right now bc i just moved in to a house and things are MAD tight for this month.. AGAIN. i figure. “why starve” atleast grab some food since you;ll be home. I get ground beef. and cheese. I have bread and onions. I make everything and i’m VERY grateful i can even have THIS. I’m a big kethup person. And one thing i didnt get at the market was… ketchup. Of course it never dawned on me the food was prepped and ready for consumption. Fortunately earlier today I happened to move around some bags in teh living room and scoffed @ ketchup packs but i figure.. ” maybe some day i’ll use them.” Well TODAY was that day…:)

The Dark Knight is a GREAT movie. DC is making an awesome come back to challenge Marvel’s Super Hero Movies. I would dare say the Dark night is BETTER than Batman Begins.
this post isn’t about the current movie, but after the movie credits we all pondered who would be next in the BatMan Movies. I believe that the current movie gave very good and subtle hints.

HINT 1: Catwoman.
There’s a scene in the movie where Batman comes in for an upgrade after being mauled by dogs. They are talking about batman’s upgraded suit.

“it’s good against knives, bullets, more flexible.”
“what about against dogs?” batman asks.
“Rot or Chauwawa, it should handle both. Might not hold up against cats though.” – MESSAGE!!!!!! Catsuit MEEOW

Hint 2 : Batgirl intro
Gordan is now Commisioner. We get to see his whole family. Mom is shown and named, Dad is there, son Jim jr. shown BUT not the daughter. She present in the scene. She ambiguous the whole time. Never named, never seeing her face, and barely refered to directly if at all. But she’s present in 2 key scenes. MAYBE DC hasnt casted BATGIRL yet and wants to keep continuity. Good job!

I’d like to see a new intro for Robin. I’m a sidekick kinda guy. There’s something to the sidekick. Kinda the under-dog of hero. Taking the bullets for the hero, always getting kid-napped as a trap for the hero. Never really getting his/her own spotlight, yet still showing up EVERYDAY to protect and server! Ever replaceable. Poor Robin(s).

i had to find out about the “Halo” kick ppl were on. I kept hearing abotu how “great” 3 was. So i figured, “start at the 1st one and try it out.” I borrowed the 1st one and after playing other games i just liked MORE. * Call of Duty 4, Gears of War* I got back to playing the Halo Combat Evolved. THe story pulled me along and slaying Covenent and running down FLood.. jsut got me hooked. So wheni saw that i was close to beating the 1st one.. I hurry to my friends at Amazon and order the Halo 2 so i coudl just continue. While waiting the few days to get Halo 2, i got even MORe caught up in the high difficulty lvls of Halo. Not realy digging Halo 2. More confined space. Better grafx but things were harder to see on my 27 ” CRT I’m wondering if played on a wide-flat.. if it would have been ezier to see. *Hint to self.

So i just completed 2 and although i was more impressed by the game play of 1, the story is played out so well i just HAD to order the 3 to complete the circle. O < ------ halo ring... :) lol or better ---> 0

Wed is the delivery date. So i guess until then… “make mine Halo”

America’s think i’m African. Africans think i’m African. Black ppl think i’m white or not black enough… white ppl think i’m “black” and what ever ideas they THINK that means. I just want to be. Hmmm the only ppl accepting me on sighe is Africa… but i’m not willng to deny that i’m American…
