I dont get the point A great theme.. TERROR!!! Overwhelming -odds , no place to run… and then.. well THIS!?!?? I dont understand. I think it was cool how the movie tries to show that we LIVE HUMANS make a way NO MATTER WHAT. Greed and classism SHINES through; that’s NOT what the ZOMBIE cult films shouuld be about. I mean tru all the others were stories about what ppl tried to do while the “invasion” happened. But that’s where the real fun was.. the shock .. the gore! What WOULD youdo if this were to happen. This movie tries to pose what coudl happen AFTER. But then it ruins THAT idea by trying to have an outside story. It wasnt needed. These movies carry themselves just by the huge numbers of gouls… and the stupid and futile attempts ppl try to make it just go away. I’m not trying to ruin this plot for anyone who hasnt seen it yet.. but for those who have/will , do u get me?
I wanted more… of LESS. More zombies and mobing and more ppl dropping like the US dollar. Less IS MORE. Instead the movie tries to give MORE story and less what the experience used to be about.
Oh.. Jon Leguosamo(sp) is inthe movie. I think he’s cool so it helps. But I’m NOt fond of this film. Evil dead was better. even BAD TASTE , its a movie, was more entertaining. I only went to this movie bc i heard my dad talking about it.. AND the fact that the dirctor of Night of the Living Dead , had his hands in this, i was geeked about what could be done next. I mean look at 28 days later! Great movie. Basic…. Ppl killing others.. few servivors tring to figure out WHAT THE @#$@# IS GOING ON!!! or even the remake of Dawn of the Dead. Again Mass mayhem.. few ppl tring to just survive the next 20 secs..:)

Ok.. most ppl I speak to know that I wasnt too found of the 80’s. Just a weird time for me. i was akward.. and i didnt get most of what was “popular” then.
Things like disco was dying out, women AND men could wear make-up, hairspray and “big hair” and NOT be thought of as gay. Tight jeans… Big hair bands…. Jerry Curls… Regan! hey.. like i said , weird. My quote about the 80’s is ” The best thng about the 80’s is that they ENDED!” But I’m being too critical. It had it’s good points. TV was cool. The muppet show, the A-Team, McGuyver, Rockie and Bullwinkle, School House Rock, The electric Co., the Smurfs, the Snorks, Rainbow bright, MuppetBabies, Transformers, GI JOE, Silverhawks, ThunderCats, Pirates of Dark water, Dynasty/Dallas* who did shoot JR?”* Hogan’s Heroes, McKaele’s(sp) Navy, Dukes of Hazzard, Knight Rider, Buck Rogers, Garfield, Heithcliff,Bugs bunny and friends, Tiny Toons, no wait they were the90’s, ummm the 3Stooges* in syndiction. Soul Train., American BandStand, Captain Planet, Captian Power, Rubix Cube and Nintendo Power … I mean the list just GOES… lol.
There was one show i luved bc i thought the sword… lance was cool. Everyone i asked about the show had NO CLUE who or what i was talkingabout. And NOW… I have found the name . I enoyed to artwork. evern though i’m not big on Hanna Barbarra’s more popular shows. * The Flintstones or the Jetsons. Tom and Jerry kicked @ss though. OK the name of the show….

i was driving home.. and i guess i’m kinda complacent. I was wondering .. ok.. when we are younger, all we care about is getting older. THen when we get older i guess we just try NOT to be too old. But what are we really here for? yes.. the age old quest.. and question.. WHYARE WE HERE!! I mean … what are we doing. We exisist and die. We only live on as long as we are remembered by someone, but once they are gone… that’s it. If you “did something signifacant” then you get Historical recog… but even THAT is scewed by those who record what they find out or observed. That doesnt realy tell anyone how/who/what you were. Everyone knows about George Washington… what he’s famed for doing.. and claimed to have stood for.. but WHO WAS GEORGE.. a president.. a father.. a soilder… a PERSON. What did he like.. dislike… care about.. why did he care. Billions of billionsof ppl have exisited since time began.. and they are all gone. Done. right now we we walk today ppl did things. 100, 200 , 500, 5000 years from now.. ppl will walk where we are TODAY and we wont matter. So, what are we here for? Someone remind me..:)

So i’m pulling up to a gas station. I have a low tire or two.. and i in conflict bc i dont want to pay $.75 JUST FOR air. But i’m thinking “I might get a blow out and have an accident. I shoudl have filled this last week. I coudl wait to get up the blvd to the HESS which has FREE air * image the concept of FREE air–WOW!!!! LOL * ” Either way after debating i grudgingly get out the car.. drop my change in and begin to fill the rear tire on the drive’s side. Keep in mind that i parked passenger side out facing the street. I was at the Fox st gas station. Anyway… I filling the tire. I’m supped to have liek 47 psi.. my tire is showing like 10psi. Not good. ALWAY RIDE ON GOOD TIRES!!!! Better tracktion and better gas usage. Plus it’s just smart. Bak to me. Umm I get ready to switch sides. I’m looking at my front tire thinking it coudl use air too. 45 more and this tire is done. I hear tire scretching and then the sound of a car hitting the curb. it was raining so i’m guessing that the driver had tried to come to a stop and just skidded. I then hear CRASH!!! then BANG!! I’m still kneeling on the drivers side filling the rear tire so i cant see a thing. I stand up to see a car on it SIDE stoping and knocking into the AirPump was JUST @ less than a min a go. I hit the pump hard enough to knock it off its stand but not to sendit flying or anything. So i’m stuck ..like..” well .. ummm ok.. ” I was JUST there and if the car had been 5 feet closer , at the LEASAT the bak half of my car would be DONE! Dont want to think about what would have happened to me, since i was knelt @ teh rear tire. Nor do i want to think what would have been if i was ont eh passenger side when this had happend. Bad end to an OK night. I do pray that the ppl in the car will be ok. I hope tha at MOST they get a recoverable ride to the hospital. A woman was driving.. she seems conscience. was talking a lil bit. Her Airbag deployled. THe passenger, a male i couldnt tell. I coudl see him slumpedover tward her when we pushed the car over. Oh when ppl jumped from thier cars it was decide to tire to turnt eh car upright. took me a sec or two to react. I thought i’d be better at this. Less effected. I realy pray they are ok… or atleast will be. Life is short and confusing enough to NOT have something as simple as bad traction ruin ur whole night.

Wht i’ve learned from this. 1 U can NEVER really b prepared. U go when you go. Period , dot! 2, you cant live in fear that EVERYTHING you do will cause you harm. i’f i’d died.. i wasnt doing anything more than filling my tires with air. Nor can you live a life hidden thinking that if u dont do anything nothing will happen to you. Death will come to us all. Fact! I have a headache. I think i’m thinking about this too long. I have work inthe AM. lol..
