I’ve just been told that a good friend of mine was ina tragic accident. She was traveling back to AZ and her family was with her. I havent gotten a full story but there was a hiway accident. She’s banged up but her dad was killed. I knew this man. Mr Degracia was a good man. Luved by anyoen i met who knew him and just an all around good man. Someone who would just as soon take off his shirt to clothe someone as to breathe air! I knwo this blog message is unworthy of his life… but I’m stuck with what to even say. I’m shocked. I JUST saw the guy like a week or so ago. Laughing, talking about work and movies. And now he’s gone… survived by a wife.. 2 daughters and 3 sons. Mr Degracia. I will miss you!
Please, for those reading, I failto do this as well but cherrish ur luved ones. Since we KNOW we arent here indefinate… I guess we shoudl act more like it. But i guess if you spend all ur time worring about the ” end” you’ll never enjoy the NOW! Another friend of mine’s dad passed. I dont have any details about that. But Morris.. I feel for your family as well.

But then keep in mind that movie was done in like 1948… THEy did a D@mn good job and acting was believable!

Never thought about going to a Helicopter Museum. Never dawned on me that there was such thing to even visit. As a b-day gift , I was taken to on out in the West Chester area. Really cool little spot. Oh for those here who dont know, I think the helicopter is the greatest vehicle EVER!!! ok.. maybe the “new” Batmobile is hott too. But there’s only ONE of that and 10o’s of dozens types and makes of the helicopter. I saw a video.. and read. Didnt get to fly bc of rain, but that’s more than ok.

Ok. I never realized that COURT TV and Reality shows aren’t necessarily fiction. I’ve seen some shows and you’d think.. ” there’s NO way…” and I’m in a case where you see situation and observing the ppl in the court room, all I see are echoes of what the shows have on. Interesting and not interesting. I have a judge who swears he’s Judge Mathis or something. Might even his picture in he locker. lol jk. Drama, drama, drama. PPL really do feed into this. Our judge does nothing but talk.. to the point that we are ready to just tell him to “LET THE CASE HAPPEN AND BE QUIET!!!” We sat in the court room yesterday for like 2 hours just LISTENING to the jdg. READING … READING!!!!! Basically he was telling us what would be expected of the jury and how the case should run. I figured he’d have this down by now. I heard he’s almost to the point where he can retire. So when he’s NOT READING his script, he’s trying to make things “light and pleasant ” for the jury. Good idea.. BAD EXECUTION!!! It’s just eating up MORE time. I used to wonder.. ”Why does it take YEARS for some cases to come to trial?” Now I have my answer. lol.. We spent ONE DAY with ONE WITNESS!!!! ONE!!!_the def and pro had ops to question and cross examine. But the whole day!!!!! One… ONE person. I’m spoiled by one of my fav shows Law and Order.. Heck in ONE HOUR they’ve interviewed ppl, gotten evidence, went to trial, had the miss trial, RE-TRIED and locked or let go! I guess that’s the beauty of editing. I am learning a few things. ONE what i think it REALLY means to be ” innocent until proven guilty” Until explained to me and I got time to really think about it. It wasn’t concrete to me. AS i’m looking at this person on trial, i’m not looking at a guilty person trying to get off. No I’m looking at an innocent person who has someone trying to prove he/she is guilt of something. Sounds simple till you hear a case and testimony of events. U have to remember the def is NOT guilty. And that the Proc is trying to prove that he/she is.. not vice-versa. Kinda cool . I have a new respect for our law system .. in it’s IDEAL form. Another thing.. always pay ur babysitter… it’s just better bc it shouldnt come back to bite you later. LOL I’ll explain more later when i can talk about the case. Oh.. some women should NOT be allowed to look THAT NICE and be in public… AROUND PPL!!!! LOL Juror # 7… D@MN! oh bak to the case… even though it my duty as a citizen to act as a “to b called to act as a judge of my peers” i think there should be a better form of restitutions for time spent. 9$ a day and 25$ a day if it’s goes pass 3 days!!!!??? I know ppl who get paid this amount and MORE hourly.. !!! And it’s not really the $$. I really think that something should be done to compensate for the inconvenience. Ur on this case bc SOMEONE else you dont know .. wait.. see.. bak to the thought again.. maybe not. I was thinking about this as ” someone did something wrong now i have to take time and energy to sit and listen.. but this person is defending his/her INNOCENCES!!! Which think if any of us were in that position we should be given every courtesy to do so. I’m babbling now. So Shower time for dave and then to bed. I have duties to perfom.. I”M NOT EVEN @ WORK THIS EARLY!!!!! _Gnite ppl

I’m not sure about this jury duty thing. I get it’s our right to be judge by a panel of our peers.. but why does the peer have to b ME!!!!?? I’ve never had to serve b4 to this time they got me.. And it a criminal case.. go figure. interesting enouhg that i’m not pissed.. but still. if this was a one or 2 day thing fine.. but 4 + days..!!?? Come on. I’m being charged with someones possible freedom.. and i dont even want to be there. they are ppl who acutally see this as “fun.” an escape from work. I HAVE WORK TO DO I LIKE!!! THere’s a project i was in teh middle of. ANd now is on hold!!!
QAll i can say is.. ALWAYS PAY UR BABYSITTER!!!! LOL

It’s been 9 days and now they must go. The stiches are scheduled to be removed inthe morning. I dont think it should matter. I think id rather them just dissolve in water or something. I really dont even feel them that much now. B4 i KNEW bc i dcoudl feel it pulling the skin.. now.. not much.
I’m curious if there will be more time pulling them out than in…
I mean I’ve never haed stitches b4 so i dont knwowhat’s happening. If the doc tellme that i should feel a lil pressure.. but BOTH his hands are on my shoulders.. i’m NOT going to have a good day:)
Guessit’s not time to heal. I’m told coacoa butter should put my booty bak at go..:)

I could bare my bum to all of the ER… now mom is changing my badage and i feel weird. I havent been CHANGED in years…:(
And here my mom is…again! Weird…..! Believe me.. if could see it id change it myself. I tried took 2 mirrors and i could only c a lil bit. The stitch line is an “L” about 2 -2.5 inches. Nice job DAVE!:)lol Anyone know any good plastic surgeons? I might need surgery…. to hide any scaring. Now ill never get my booty insured.:(

Ok now I guess I can say that this building project if OFFICIALLY a pain in my @ss!:(
I was on the 2 nd floor. Just as I was closing up for the nite. There’s a set of stairs which lead from the living area to the bathroom. Bc of previous water damage b4 the roof was repaired the floor in the area had been pulled up. So there is exposed floor area. Ceiling joist and then the drywall separating the two floors. Ok.. to the point. While walking down the Living area stairs on the 2nd floor I tried to drop to the 1 st floor by going THRU the dry wall. I think I just missed the joist when I stepped down. I caught myself b4 falling all the way down. Only fell about chest height. I now have a hole…: ( in my .. bum. Nice sized gash too. I’ll put up a link with the shot of the stitches soon.
Thanks Zoe! She was working on plumbing on the 2nd floor while I was doing wiring on the 3rd. She took me up to the Emergency room @ Chestnut hill Hospital. She was very calm…. I always thought she’d panic. I’m very proud! Good thing it was the weekend… : ) I guess. I was in and OUT and about an hour! Oh.. so you want to know HOW MANY STITCHES!!!??? * drum roll please. The magic number is…..

15! I’ve never had ANY stitches. And was quite happy with my record of not be a patient and on taking or visiting ppl in the hospital. It’s taken 27 years for them to get me bak in an ER. I think that’s a good length of time. Yes.. I had the “gown” on.. kinda. And I was .: ( Ass OUT!!! Not as bad as I thought. I didn’t feel embarrassed in the least. I think I’ll try the beach next. lol NOT!!!!

Oh well. I’m down for like a day or two have to take meds and see a doc in a few days to get the stitches checked and/or removed. My beautiful booty..: ( scarred! I’m so ashamed!
