Ok.. i know many ppl are downing MACs.. Hey i fall under the veil of SWITCHER my self. * Apple Swichers are ppl who were avid WIN XX users and SWITCHED to the Mac platform for varying reasons. Myself I just got tired of dealing with slowness, virus/popup attacks, and basic simplicity. I HATED Mac OS 9 and DOWN! They Made ..make no sense to me. The profile… the app placement. Not very intuitive in my opinion. OS X is just logically. What ever your looking for, it’s THERE… in 1 or 2 of like 3 places. I put my mac to sleep, come bak.. it still working. heck.. It’s rare i ever shut down. Maybe.. 3-4 x in a MONTH. There’s just no need to restart it. try that on ur PC. My work PC computer .. if i leave it on ever night… I come in to use it.. it’s like it has serious issues with waking up. PCs are not “morning ppl” 
To my point though. Apple every year has 1 or 2 events show casing what’s “new” for them to release. I can say that macs are designed to simplify things sooo much. The iLife suite.. too simple. Anyone can use it and mac GOOD work. GREAT ideas… as long as you dont know already how to do it urself. Example: iPhoto. when i needed just to get my pictures from my digi cam to the computer in an organized yet simple manner.. iPHOTO was GREAT. Ez.. quick. simple. BUT as my collection started to grow.. i ran into issues of needing to move things around.. and anyone used to iTunes… know that if tyou let it manage ur files.. then just 4get about going back into organize it urself. FOLDERs apon FOLDERS apon FOLDERS!!!! If i took a few pictures over a few days and at diff times… then EACH PHOTO would be grouped by when it was taken. In folder a created by date so .. 1/12/05 is the top folder.. Ok kool. Now I take pictures like in the morning, twice in the evening, and then a few spoted at night. So now i have 6 new folders depending on time. 8ish, 10ish.. 130ish 9pmish and so one. If I took just ONE picture then ONE would be in it’s OWN folder. Ok, now multiply THAT by about 300 pictures in a few months and then multiplty THAT by the year! U need JUSt ONE picture.. if used iPhototo view/use it you were fine. Try to find the picture to edit in Photoshop.. GOOD LUCK! PLUS since iPhoto uses thumb nails to preview.. it would make SMALLER dups and place THEM in folders also!
TOO much. But for my mom, who just wants to see her pictures, throw away bad ones, remove red eye.. change basic colors, print, make a photoablum to be printed, or a slide show.. BEST APP EVER!
Y.. bc she doesnt have a clue or care about how it works. She wants to get a reault and needes to get it finished.
There are a few other issues.. * i use Bridge now.* But I will lov these EXPENSIVE @#$ machince.. till something better comes along..:) Or i die!

MacBookk Pro it’s one of Apple’s latest ” windows Killers” . It’s a Intel cpu based laptop. What does that mean. Well one of the things that made apple’s diff than other PC was not only the OS and software.. but the hardware too. Now with the switch to the Intel .. there will be MacTel.. n comparrison to Wintel* Windows based, Intel driven apps., apps and parts. This shoudl bring the HUGE cost of buying a Mac down * GOOD! and make the playing field more level. And and bad. I think the BEST thing i like about it is the MAGNETICALLY attached power cord. On the powerbook i have it’s been the ONE of two major flaws. The other being the placement of the heat outake fans. Yo this LAPtop is too HOT to leave on ur lap!:)
Ihope Apple gets it’s act together. I’m still curious about what Vista has to offer.. but i dont think i coudl be impresed much more than I am with OS X!
