Apparently “they” missed judged how much traffic this project will generate for the city…! DUH!!!! I could have told them that. JERKS! The projected traffic numbers were found to be “acceptable” enough to have to project go thru. But recent evaluations have found that the previous number were overly “optimistic.”
BULL$%IT! They talked to counsel ppl to get the permits to make it look good. Now it’s not as rosey as they wanted it to look.

You HAVE TO SEE THE APT…! recently Joyce started working for .. tadda USA TODAY so they had to hook a sista up! Well they def did! The place is NICE! I mean I’ve seen better, but for a aptment that was just GIVEN to me…? yo. Not bad. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, Kitchen, living/dining room 4person balcony. And closets… closets…closets…:) talk about “got space?” lol. I hope to have a panaram up soon of the Living area.
What i liek is the progress. u hav a talent.. you hone it till it’s as sharp as you get it and the BOOM.. opportunity comes along and you get ur shot to shine. Good pay… ppl funding you…EVERYONE in ur corner.. and for those who are hatin… you get to step over them and STILL SHINE!! AWESOME.
I was walking into work and saw something that made me smile. LIL ones… being toured around the building. I work within the School of Education so i’m guessing it maked sence to let them tour here. The teacher had about 7 children i’m guessing about the age of 5. No older than. I’m horrible with ages but i’m willing to bet non eof them were older than 5…lol Anyway she points out the elevator and what it’s used for… I wa about to get on the evil elevator, so they were able the see that the elevator works and ppl use it. She shared that the elevator is used to carry students and all there books they need to class. I thought that was funny. To have the impression that the purpose of a “lift” is to take you to class… lol
Since i was about to get on the “lift” I was used as an example of how a student looks as he’s being taken to class, ” to learn. YEA!” She made it out to be the greatest thing. Last thing I heard as the dor was closing was that ” you all are going to come to college, bc that’s y ur learning. WOW.. i was very happy to see that at THAT young of an age, the idea of Higher ed was maybe planted. Good thing she left out the horrors of HighSchool lol and the pain of grade school fights!
Ah.. youth!
I told you all. And I would have been VERY upset if it all turned out to be JUST a rat-n-a maze experiment.

I didnt think racial and religious predjudices were still the IN thing. I honestly thougth we lived ina time where this crap was more or less shuned and only thrived in small groups who hid under ground. lol BUt aparently it stil happens inteh OPEN and w/o rejection.
In Iran, they seem to be talking about labeling non-muslims. OK u can have ur personal groups; but passing a LAW to have Jews and Christians BRANDED…? well made to wear colors to show everyone they are NOT musliums, a bit crazy. Even crazier is that it has made as far as needing to be approved by the coutry’s high court to become valid.
Scary.
And in the UK there’s the politcal group called teh British National Party (BNP) trying to blame mulitcuturalism for issues like TB, HIV and other illlness outbreaks in the UK and for the decline in housing availability and proverty. Basically the disenfrachisement of the common British citizen. Sounds familar? lol A memeber mentioned in an interveiw that, ppl from these 3rd world cultures and backgrounds bring with them “tribalism and disease and violence”. And that the BNP stands for the preservation of the ‘Homogeneous” culture and nature of Britain’s “indiginous ppl.”
Come on. I get that bc some ppl enter an area w/o paper work that issue can break out bc there was no proper formalization of the courty’s laws, and ways. But accusing a ppl of “killing a society” is kind wrong.
I guess the USA isnt the only place the “hates.”

I took these while on the road trip in Mich. This months theme is PPl –> People , and Portraits. i hope to get a few ppl in this month. I might extend it to next month, bc i woudl relly liek to get better with working WITH ppl. I have issues interacing with my subjuct.. so i want to work on that. i was thinking maybe for next month, if this month is fulfiling… I would theme it Remakes. i will need help I’ve noticed a fe pictures esp around Philly of older places. I would like retake this pictures. one to see what changes have happened and two to study what other artists might have been thinking when they photographed what ever i’m shooting. example: Old shots of cityhall, Ole’ City, or Temple’s original campus. I’m asking for photos of anything. so dont think it has to be of places. I was thinking redoing shot like the “new” mona lisa. So i woudl frame/dress someone as teh painting was a retake it. Then display them side by side. See.. old and “new”
Please please give ideas.

While drinving in north philly yesturday.. i’m listening to my music. Chat onthe on the cellie… and i hear a somewhat familar tune playing. It was the overture to the soundtrack from Les Mis. But it was a low bass filled beat…. and then was replaced by i THINK Pdiddy..!!! Or I’m guessing his crew. It was DEFINATELY EAST COAST… and sounded liek NY flava.
can you believe it. When we went to see it here in Philly i mused that it would be funny to see how long it woudl take b4 someone sampled it..
