This is a just stupid.. it’s funny that i’m hearing few others who agree about what i mentioned b4 about the “importance” of funding. Well to say that it fine that this peice of history is scene as important. BUT lets put things in perspective. 68 MILLION dollars… for a 6 x 8 framed and inked cloth….!!?? when ppl are starving, there’s “no $$” to public educate, AIDs and cancer research needs funding. But the “SOCIAL-ELITE” can rally to the rescue, keeping a painting from being sold to a LARGER museum where it would get to be veiwed by many more of the art public.

So Phila has announced that it going to keep the painting. JERKS. But get this, only about $30 mill has been raised.. and the rest is ‘promised” to be donated by 2 museums here in Phila. That’s not he kicker. The $$ being donated from the local museums are not even coming directly from the museums, LOANS are being made from a local BANK. So this art, being valued @ 68mill is going to put local museums in 30+ mill in DEBT just for teh status of having it kept here by ppl too … self indulded, to look beyond their own lives. Ok.. i cant say these ppl are selfish bc i dont know them. I’m disappointed that not only is this city willing to over look more important issues.. but will go into DEBT just to have a status symbol. or they are too lazy just to take a day trip to DC when they want to see the ‘precisious”

Ok.. a while bak i talked about not liking the changes i rumor heard about the lastest release of epic series of The Transformers. CGI vs the older cartoon animations. updates to the look of the “bots” were issues i had and was rejecting. I could deal with upgrading the look. But when you CHANGE the whole bot.. I have an issue. It’s no longer the same char. example Bumble is a VW BEETLE.. NOT a Yellow Camero. * BB happens to be my fav* But hey.. check out this trailer…

Every American has a right BY LAW to own fire arms and defend their homes. And although that statement flares some controversy… ummm when does it make sense to allow a person who CANT SEE to fire a weapon? In Texas they are trying to pass a bill that would allow blind hunters a chance to legally enjoy to “sport.”

I understand that if more ppl in inner-cities AIMED and hit who they were trying to hit, there would be fewer stray-bullet murdered/injuries. So maybe they should all more the Texas and have fun. But to pass a bill to allow legally blind individuals to hunt and use firearms seems a bit special. It’s a handicap. fine… but u CANT SEE! lol

Well it’s not that bad i guess. According to the report two factors have to be in place. 1. a special laser sight must be mounted on the weapon. and 2. The person must be accompanied by a SIGHTED person.

Everyone knows.. and hates my HUGE Treo. So what. I got it bc weather on not w/o it i’d be kinda lost. I have a issue with remembering to do stuff NOW. So the lil reminders i get are great. datebook/phone/reminder/and Word! Just perfect for the on the go guy. So i drooled for weeks over the “new” fone i bought back in Jul. I switch services bc well I needed a new fone at the time and the company i was with wasing getting the new series. So After switching OS.. -please stick with Palm and leave the Windows Mobile alone. it is @SS. – and switching fone companies – not bad service and it’s been way cheaper now- PalmOne releases a MORE up-to-date series of the Treo…:(

Yea. Umm I’m JUST getting this. Like,THIS MORNING! When it’s us guys, if we ask you something it’s NOT a request. The person has an option if the man is asking. When a man makes a request.. then the person doesn’t have a real option. U just do it. Women though… women ask you and we men THINK we have a option and when we choice the answer that’s NOT the “right” one or take a while to consider what we thought was a option opportunity, we are WRONG. So basically treat all question from women as REQUESTs. Remember when ur parent would “ASK” you, “Do you want to wash the dishes?” or “don’t you want to go to the store for me?” You were thinking.. “umm NO I’m playing right now”, but u kinda just knew that u had to go..Same thing here.

I wish you women would STOP ASKING and just freaking request. If you know we don’t have an option.. then STOP giving them. It just makes everyone involve frustrated. ok… so i see conspiracies… so what. maybe i just ezily offended maybe of sensitively “aware” but are the demographics of Greyhound bus riders who are minority or “hiphop generationally” aware THAT high that using the marketing slogan LETsGODOG made sense?

I don’t get to watch too much tv.. but i happened to see a commercial..or was it heard.. i forget honestly, but anyway the ad told me that if i wanted more info on great deals with greyhound i should go to … www.letsgodog.com. When i heard it.. i was hoping it was a joke. And of course there was the hiphop beat playing in the background of the commentator so it just got to me MORE that this lame act was going to be greyhounds new ad. I’ve never really been big on taking Greyhound. I never had any issues really for or against using it. I think the bus is cool, cheap way to get around when yo don’t have a car. But i do have a car right now and have had or had access to one for a while, so i don’t think i really noticed the kind of riders who use it. when i would pick up or drop off folk they would always be college students who were traveling to/from home out of town so i know that “no income” students use the service.I also note that older ppl tend to use it to hit AC or to travel, I’m guessing bc it’s cheaper than train or plane. But far too slow. it can take 3+ hours just to get to/from Baltimore MD. I can do the trip driving in about 1:45-50. Bmoore on Mapquest is like 2:05. How do they get an extra hour or so .. i don’t know. But anyway. I write these ideas i have out bc maybe I’m just not with it. I’m offended slightly that Greyhounds ad ppl thought this would be a good investment. But doesn’t it just play on the stereotypes of the hiphop gen being “poor urban youth.” is that really what the market sees? Are the numbers really supporting that factor?

This site seems to redirect the older site. i kinda remember it reading more like a septa online scheduler, in favor of an almost online community type page. Will Setpa switch to YouGoPhilly.com, YoGoPHILLY.com or just YoPhilly.com to change it’s image? oh oh .. or maybe Wachovi will have “I got money in da bank! Shortie what u drank?” playing as their theme music in it’s next ad or when you go to check ur online balance. lol

Sorry when i think of hanging around a greyhound bus station… i think of the homeless ppl looking for someplace to rest that warmer than the streets. Really kinda sad to see Transit police kicking a guy out of Amtrak area just bc he “loitering.” the guys trying to have a place that isn’t cold and dirty… if he’s not bothering folk.. let him be man. it’s 3am, who is he really bothering. Good thing we don’t have the vagrancy laws from back in the day. But i digress. Everyone has a job to do. So i guess the police-cops are doing theirs.

This series is coming out awesome. i think this is all taking place after Marvel dicided to give the Marvel Uni and facelift. A lil while back they redid the stories for many of the greatest chars. To give them year 2000 twist. Example : Spidey wasn’t bitten by a random radioactive spider yet and gen-engineered arachnid. there are a few other updates which rejuvinizes the stories but the ending results are stil lthe same.

Anyway as i spoke b4 about the Civil War Saga : thing are REALLY bad. The gov wants all the “supers” to register name and residence and to ONLY fight when complied with by uncle Sam. In exchange the supers get to be Civil servants and promises that ONLY the gov will have there IDs on record. Safe…. ! Yeah right. Believe that if you want. So those who comply are rallied together… those

I’ve been stuck on something recently. Hope. Like the meaning a concept. Accord to the dictionary : a feeling of expectation and a desire for things to happen. No in it’s definition i guess hope isnt bad. reading the def. i guess it seems more neutral. but when used i guess it takes on a more… active meaning. As if by hoping, it- what ever IT is- will happen if you believe and hope hard or long enough. And that is where my problem lies. I tired of hoping and waiting and hoping .. and and… NOTHING. infact i tend to get the OPPOSITE of my wishing. So i dont like hope. I’ve lost faith in hoping. I’m done. I live life as it is and what i get i get. What is missed is missed and i move on.
