Harry Potter Readers… can you explain something to me. In book 7 there a “5-exceptions rule to transfigurations” mentioned and one of the exceptions is food. Apparently Food can NOT be made from nothing or changed from something INTO food. BUT in book 1, Prof Magonicle changes her desk into a PIG and back. Now. A pig would fall under ANIMAL and NOT FOOD.. kinda… but Pig is made from PORK…lol which IS food. SOOO are they saying that if i made a pig that if i tried to get bacon from that pig it wouldn’t happen. What about if a computer was changed into a chicken? Would i still get eggs?
